Essential Services at Risk with Possible Closure of Sonoma Developmental Center

The final report has not yet been released but all indications are that The Future of Developmental Centers Task Force will recommend major changes for California's remaining developmental centers.

Whether or not those changes should include complete closure of the four remaining state-operated facilities -- including Sonoma Developmental Center -- is still a hot-button issue.
