Developmental Centers Task Force Circulates Revised Draft Report

The Future of Developmental Centers Task Force, which was formed by California's Health and Human Services Department, held its last meeting on December 13, 2013 and circulated its preliminary recommendations to the Governor and legislature at that time. Earlier this week a revised draft report was circulated to Task Force members for final comment before finalizing the report for a formal release, which could happen as soon as the end of this week.

Both documents are dated Jan. 6, 2014 and are not yet final. This version of the report incorporates the comments received on the first draft, as well as three letters from Task Force members.
