Sheep shearing at the Eldridge Farm in June

These sheep are not the sheep at SDC, but we think they
dramatize the importance of a periodic shearing. And they're
just daring you to say they need a hair cut.

Mark your calendars for one of the year's many highlights on the farm at the Sonoma Developmental Center. On Thursday, June 2, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, the sheep will be sheared! Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy the show.

The Eldridge Farm has existed since the 1960's and is a popular feature of the Sonoma Developmental Center. For directions and a map of the SDC campus, visit the Sonoma Developmental Center website.

The farm is generally open from 8 - 4:30 daily, but to confirm or with questions, contact the farm at (707) 938-6337. No need to call the day of the sheep shearing though. Just come on out!
